"The Crisis Within" is a documentary short produced and edited by CDM for the Women's Equal Justice Project in 2020. It highlights the disturbing treatment faced by thousands of people who experience sexual assault and domestic violence in New York City each year, due to the NYPD's longstanding shortage of resources to investigate these crimes. Advocates are speaking out to demand that appropriate levels of training and resources are allocated to bring perpetrators to justice and protect the well-being of NYC residents and visitors.
